Biology training 29.07.2022-01.08.2022 Valletta, Malta

The biology training organized by the University of Malta gathered all 15 ESRs at the end of June.

This course consisted of 3 intensive days of lectures on biology and microbial ecology, cheese safety, iron modelling, volatile sulphur compounds, cheese ripening process, microbiology in cheesemaking, etc...

Several consortium members participated in this training: the University of Malta, INRAE, NIZO, BIOVAL, ACTALIA, and CNIEL.

We also held the consortium meetings on Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 and right after we all had dinner together.

It was a great opportunity to get to know each other while enjoying the sun and the Maltese beaches.

The next stop of our journey will be in Bologna, in October for the statistics training.
