E-MUSE
Complex microbial Ecosystems MUltiScale modElling:
mechanistic and data driven approaches integration
Project Coordinator
Dominique Swennen (Ph.D.) is a research scientist at the National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment in France (INRAE) in the Paris-Saclay Food and Bioproduct Engineering Research Unit (SayFood). Dominique Swennen is a molecular biologist who studied the vesicle-mediated transport pathways in the yeast Yarrowia lipolytica. Since 2011, her research topic has been the understanding of food microbial communities' structure and function. In 2019, Dominique Swennen acquired skills in integrative bioinformatics and has developed workflows to analyse microbial communities' multi-omics data.
European Project Manager
Astrid Salles is a European project manager at the National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment in France (INRAE) in the Paris-Saclay Food and Bioproduct Engineering Research Unit (SayFood). After a Bachelor of Law, she studied European and international law. Then she learned about European projects and H2020 program during her Master of Law. In the framework of the project E-MUSE, she assists the Project Coordinator in the communication and dissemination of the project (inside and outside the consortium), the reporting and financial monitoring, the assistance to the ESRs and PIs, the recruitment of the ESRs, the organization of many meetings and training events.
